Purchase take-out or delivery at any i Fratelli Pizza location, or dine at i Fratelli Ristorante & Wine Bar on Monday, June 25 to benefit Crossroads Community Services.  CCS is “nourishing people & powering change.”  Just mention CCS and 15% of your purchase total will go to feed our neighbors right here in DFW.

In 2011, CCS provided over 13,500 individuals with 1.3 million pounds of nutritious food, enabling our clients to prepare 1.1 million healthy meals. Roughly half of those we serve are children (17 years and younger) for whom proper nutrition is critical for growth, as well as success in school. Our food distibution program allows our neighbors-in-need to stretch their budget further, and helps them to continue to put food on the table for their families without sacrificing their health needs.

i Fratelli DoughNation Benefiting Rainbow Days June 4

Posted on Posted on

Busy weekend?  Want to order lunch for your staff?  No time to cook? Support Rainbow Days (and stay out of the kitchen) with i Fratelli. Rainbow Days is partnering up with i Fratelli for a fundraiser on Monday, June 4. When you place your order for delivery from any location (or dine in at i Fratelli Ristorante & Wine Bar in Irving) be sure to mention “Rainbow Days” and they will receive 15% of your purchase total. Offer is available all day during their regular business hours – 11 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Pre-orders are welcome and you may call before 11 a.m. to place the order. It’s the best thin-n-crispy crust pizza in the Metroplex—for a great cause!

Rainbow Days, Inc. (RDI) was founded in 1982 in Dallas, TX by current Chief Executive Officer, Cathey Brown. Cathey began the first support group for young children of alcoholics in the Dallas area. During the weekly support group sessions, the children discussed how to manage their feelings, cope with problems and make healthy choices. The demand for these groups grew rapidly. With the increased need, Rainbow Days began implementing support groups in schools, shelters, and other community locations throughout the Dallas community.

Now, 30 years later, RDI has expanded services to include an array of alcohol, tobacco and other drug (ATOD) prevention programs and has served nearly 140,000 children in the Dallas community alone. In addition, we have trained more than 37,000 professionals across Dallas, the state of Texas and the nation in how to implement at least one of RDI’s support groups or other accredited prevention programs with children in their own communities.
